What Recovery Coaching Really Means: Beyond the Buzzwords
Recovery coaching isn't about fixing people. It's about walking alongside them while they rebuild their own foundation. Here's what that actually looks like in practice.
Your facility needs consistent, professional group facilitation—not last-minute scrambles or burned-out staff. DAMD delivers trained recovery coaches with lived experience and evidence-based methodology to lead your groups with structure, accountability, and real impact. Temporary coverage or permanent placement across Los Angeles.
Trusted by rehab centers, sober living homes, and outpatient programs throughout LA County.
“We bring the structure, consistency, and accountability your groups need—so your team can focus on what matters.”
DAMD Recovery is a purpose-driven coaching movement that transforms pain into leadership, addiction into accountability, and trauma into truth.
We train elite recovery coaches, run raw group transformations, and partner with facilities that want more than a check mark on a treatment plan.
We know what it's like because we've been there. No theory—just truth forged in fire.
This isn't a program. It's a movement for the forgotten, overlooked, labeled, and dismissed.
We don't sugarcoat. We don't enable. We build leaders through suffering—not followers through comfort.
Structured groups that create real change, not check marks on a treatment plan.
Everything you need to know about our group facilitation services and how to partner with DAMD Recovery.

Prior certifications are helpful but not required. DAMD University provides trauma-informed facilitation training, evidence-based methodology (CBT, MI, SMART), and hands-on mentorship. We train you to be effective, not just certified.
All DAMD facilitators have lived recovery experience, professional training in trauma-informed care, and ongoing mentorship. Many have certifications in CBT, motivational interviewing, and peer support. Most importantly, they've walked the path themselves.
We don't sugarcoat. We don't enable. We bring lived experience combined with professional training. Our facilitators have been through the fire themselves—they speak truth, hold accountability, and bring real impact to your groups.
We use evidence-informed approaches including CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) practices, Motivational Interviewing, SMART Recovery concepts, and trauma-informed care. We combine proven techniques with real-world experience.
We partner with residential treatment centers, sober living homes, IOP programs, PHP programs, and outpatient clinics across Los Angeles. Contact us to discuss your facility's specific needs.
