What does DAMD Recovery provide?
DAMD provides professional group facilitation, recovery-support programming, specialty and experiential groups, and recurring or supplemental coverage for behavioral-health and recovery programs.
Who does DAMD serve?
We partner with detox, residential, PHP, IOP, outpatient, mental-health, substance-use, and structured recovery-residence programs across Southern California, subject to fit and availability.
Are all DAMD facilitators licensed clinicians?
No. Qualifications vary by provider. The network may include credentialed substance-use professionals, recovery-support specialists, group facilitators, and qualified wellness or experiential providers. Each assignment is matched to the provider's credentials, training, experience, and scope.
Does DAMD provide therapy?
DAMD's core services are group facilitation, psychoeducation, recovery support, coaching, and approved wellness or experiential programming. These services are not psychotherapy or medical treatment unless a specifically licensed professional is contracted in an authorized clinical role.
Can DAMD cover one group or multiple weekly groups?
Yes. Partnerships may range from one specialty group to recurring coverage across multiple days or locations. Availability depends on schedule, geography, population, and facilitator fit.
How are facilitators matched?
DAMD reviews the program type, population, schedule, desired topics, facility expectations, documentation requirements, and requested scope before identifying a potential facilitator.
Can facilitators use our curriculum?
Yes, when appropriate. DAMD can work within an approved facility curriculum or propose topics from its group library, subject to facility direction and facilitator qualifications.
What happens if a facilitator is unavailable?
DAMD follows the communication and call-out process established for the assignment and will explore qualified replacement coverage when possible. Replacement is subject to availability and is not guaranteed unless specifically stated in the service agreement.
How quickly can services begin?
Timing depends on the facility's requirements, facilitator availability, credential review, onboarding, contracting, and schedule. Submit a facility request for a realistic start-date assessment.
How do we get rates?
Rates depend on location, frequency, group length, specialty, schedule, documentation, and scope. DAMD provides pricing after reviewing the facility request.

Yes. Recovery residences and structured sober-living programs are one of the settings we serve. A DAMD facilitator can deliver your house's recovery groups — relapse prevention, accountability and goal setting, life skills, process-oriented discussion — on a standing weekly schedule or as short-term coverage, so residents get consistent, professionally structured groups within the house's own program.

Yes. DAMD provides qualified group facilitators to detox, residential, and inpatient programs, including their PHP and IOP tracks, as recurring or supplemental coverage. For near-daily programming we plan coverage around facilitator load and availability so a single absence does not have to mean a cancelled group.
Planning group coverage for residential and detox programsWhat do PHP and IOP mean?
PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program) and IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) are levels of care in addiction and mental-health treatment. PHP runs near-daily for several hours a day; IOP meets fewer days a week, often evenings, for clients already working or living independently. Yes, where the facility's program allows it. Groups can be delivered on-site, virtually over the facility's approved video platform, or as a hybrid, according to the program's policies and the facilitator's scope.
