What is DAMD Recovery?

We serve Los Angeles, Orange County, and the greater Southern California area — including Pasadena, Burbank, Glendale, Santa Monica, Hollywood, downtown LA, and communities throughout Orange County. Our facilitators are available for residential treatment centers, outpatient programs, sober living homes, and PHP/IOP facilities.
Do you provide group facilitators for sober living homes?
Yes. Sober living homes are one of the main settings we staff. A DAMD facilitator can run your house's recovery groups — relapse prevention, accountability, and trauma-informed process groups — on a standing weekly schedule or as coverage for a gap, so residents get consistent, professionally led groups without the house hiring its own clinical staff.
Can you run group activities for sober living residents?
Yes. Beyond facilitated recovery groups, we run structured activities for sober living residents: fitness and wellness sessions, life-skills workshops, and community events built around physical, mental, and spiritual growth. Activities are led by facilitators with lived recovery experience, so they double as connection points rather than filler programming.
Do you staff inpatient and residential treatment programs?
Yes. We place certified group facilitators into residential and inpatient treatment centers, including PHP and IOP tracks, on a temporary or permanent basis. For near-daily programming we plan around facilitator load and bench depth, so a single absence never means a cancelled group.
What do PHP and IOP mean?
PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program) and IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) are levels of addiction treatment care. PHP runs near-daily, several hours a day; IOP meets fewer days a week, often evenings, for clients already working or living independently. How quickly can you cover a group if a facilitator quits or cancels?
We respond within 24-48 hours of your request to confirm availability and next steps. Facilities most often come to us exactly at that moment — a facilitator gave notice or stopped showing up — and we can provide temporary coverage while you decide on a permanent arrangement.
How much does group facilitation staffing cost?
It depends on the level of care, the schedule, and whether you need one-time coverage or a standing weekly arrangement — a sober living home's weekly house group and a PHP's daily programming are very different commitments. What services do you offer?
We offer three services for facilities: (1) Group Facilitation — professional, already-certified recovery coaches and group facilitators staffed into your program on a temporary or permanent basis, (2) Events & Activities — structured community, fitness, and wellness programming for your residents, and (3) Facilitator Placement — matching certified facilitators from our roster to your program's level of care and schedule.
What types of groups do you facilitate?
We facilitate trauma-informed recovery groups, relapse prevention, accountability coaching, CBT-based skills development, anger and shame processing, family systems work, and dual-diagnosis support groups for mental health and addiction.
Do you offer virtual facilitation?
Yes. We offer both on-site and virtual group facilitation to accommodate your facility's needs. Virtual sessions are conducted via secure video call.
